A lot of incoming letters! (Part II)

Without a long wait, here is part two of my incoming letters. And as I really got a lot of mail there will definitely be a third part in the next days. I should do it more regularly again ;)

Just like the last post I'll start this one with a letter from Ines. Shortly after we met in London, where I gave her my reply to her last letter in person she wrote me a reply - this girl is just way too fast sometimes! It's a Chirstmas letter inside a Christmas card with some Christmas goodies. And she put Christmas confetti inside the envelope so my whole floor was covered with it. I HATE when people do this, to be honest ;D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And another letter from Stephanie from Germany. I love that we make our letters so simple so that there's no distraction and it's all about the content of the letter. Hopefully I can meet her in person soon ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I really wished I could've shown you this letter earlier, but after we thought it got lost and she was about to write a new one it suddenly reached me. It got stuck at customs for over a month! Just because she had send some sweets. Or maybe HONG KONG sounded too suspicious, who knows? So, this is the first letter by Vicky from Hong Kong. Hopefully it won't take two months again for her replies. Stupid customs!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I finally got a reply by Sarah from Germany. It's only her second letter but she's a real nice person! Just like a lot of my recently gained penpals she lives in a city next to mine :D Her letter is a folded Christmas themed one and so lovely! I mean... look at this adorable meerkat Christmas card *____* Meerkats are by far my favourite animals and this card is soooo cute! She also included some tea from the Maledives where she has been for her honeymoon in November. That was also the main topic of her letter: stories about the trip. I am SO jealous!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here is a second letter by Kamilla from Denmark. Never expected her to answer my last letter as fast as she did! She included a postcard of Kopenhagen (I love to receive postcards from the places my penpals live at!) and I really love her envelope although I usually hate the colour pink, haha.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This letter from Michelle from America reached me quite unexpected. We had agreed to become penpals quite a long time ago and she wanted to write the first letter but not until now I received it. And I have to say: this was totally worth all the waiting! This is definitely one of the most amazing letters I've received recently. She had put soooo much effort into it and there were surprises everywhere. Can't wait for her future letters ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This one is from my lovely penpal Alieke from The Netherlands. Everytime one of her letters reaches me I get excited like a little child on Christmas as she was the first person I ever received a penpal letter of and since then our friendship just became stronger and stronger with every letter. We send each other little gifts with the letter, BUT it is definitely more about the letters as we can write for ages without getting the other one bored. She is such a fascinating person ♥ Hopefully I can meet her soon next year and visit a medieval market with her!

A lot of incoming letters! (Part I)

I am so, so sorry it took me so long this time to write a new post. Almost 2 months since the last one. You can imagine that I got a lot of letters during this time, but somehow I didn't manage to put them on my blog. This is the reason I have to split my incoming letters post into two or three parts. I haven't decided yet. There won't be an actual order of the letters as I can hardly tell by now when I got which letter, so I just post them in the order I took the pictures of them. Don't wonder about multiple letters by a few people. Some of my penpals are really quick writer ;)

Okay, let's start! (this time I had to take the pictures in my room and unfortunately the light there isn't very good, so sorry for the light reflexions and sometimes poor picture quality!)

This is a letter I received by Ines just before we met in London in November. As usual her letter was really nice and by now it feels like I've know her for much longer than I actually do as we don't only write about nonsense all the time but have quite deep conversations about our childhoods and a lot of other things that happened in the past and made us to the persons we are now. I'm always so excited when I receive one of her letters as I never know what secrets she's going to tell me. THIS is exactly one of the reasons why I love my penpals ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next letter is from my dear friend Theresa from Germany (as she is living in Spain right now she sends her letters from there though!) She is totally into Origami things and I'm quite jealous that she is so good with it as I can't fold anything without it ending up in the bin. It's like I've two left hands when it comes to Origami :/ She always makes themed letters and she puts a lot of effort and thinking into them. She's a lovely person and her letters always put a big smile on my face!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A letter from Bree from the USA. She is one of those really fast people and I get a lot of letters of her. But actually... somehow I've the feeling our conversations never get really deep and it's always like exchanging trivialities instead of getting to really know her. Still it's somehow nice having such an easy-going penpal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olivia from the Netherlands is always too afraid of sending her cute envelopes stamped to her penpals so she always puts them into a normal one. Look at the cute washi tape!! It is just adorable ♥ As she knows I love tea she also included some and I really like the bag of the right one. Why do foreign tea bags always look so lovely?
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the first letter I received by one of my Instagram penpals. I've 5 from there, I guess, and this is the first reply that reached me. It is from Lisa from Sweden. I haven't tried the candy yet as it's liquorice and I don't like that (although I will give it a try!) ;) Let's see where this friendship will lead us!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And another first letter (be aware, there will be a few more!). This time from Stephanie from Germany. Actually she is living in the city next to mine, but she was looking for people who love to write really long letters so I had to become penpals with her (and this makes it easier to meet sometime soon!) We have a lot in common and it doesn't felt like her first letter to me but as if we've been friends for much longer already. I'm sure the two of us will establish something really long-lasting. At least that's what I really hope ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Going on with the first letters. Another Instagram penpal. Kamilla from Denmark. Her paper is soooo cute, isn't it? ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I got a reply by my penpal Maeva from France. She and I have so much in common when it comes to TV shows and movies and I loved that she wrote the "Hello" in the writing from Lord of the Rings *_____* She even altered her paper with coffee. How cool is that? :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And another first letter. It came from Betül from Germany who is in Ireland as an au pair at the moment. We only got to know each other by mere coincidence on Facebook, found out we live in cities next to each other, that we both love Ireland and so we decided to become penpals. This was her first letter to me and although it is really simple I already love this girl to pieces! Okay, maybe it's also because we got to meet each other for three days about 1 1/2 weeks ago and got along so, so good! She has to be one of the cutest persons I've ever met and we had a lovely time. I'm so glad we became penpals ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 10th and last letter for this post is another first letter. It's from Wathmi from Sri Lanka. I always wanted to have a penpal from India but it was so hard to find one. I'm happy I found her on Instagram and she decided to become penpals with me and I'd say that was a really good decision ♥ As she knew it was my birthday she send me a little something for it and her letter was so nice! Can't wait for more letters ♥
Two weeks of incoming mail ♥
The last two weeks I got quite a lot of incoming mail, It's time to show you what I received from all around the world! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did ♥ (starting from the oldest and ending with the most recent!)
Unexpectedly I received a letter by one of my best friends here in Germany. Not too long ago I mentioned it would be fun to write letters again like we used to when she was in America to work as an Au Pair years ago. And then her letter reached me and I guess now we're pen pals again :) As we live quite far apart it's a nice way to keep in touch in the old fashioned way!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On to the letter from my Bulgarian pen pal Elena. I always love receiving her letters because I totally adore her handwriting! And the cute stickers she uses.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After that I got a really colourful letter from Bree from America. She really seems to like bright pink :D Probably one of the most colourful envelopes I got so far but I least I always find her letter when I'm searching for it, haha!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Then I finally received a reply from Emy from Australia. It got here in less than a week. Can you imagine that? Sometimes letters to Ireland take up to two weeks and then one from Australia is here in such a short time! Really crazy! Her letter is the longest I probably ever received: 21 pages! She told me a lot about herself and I'm curious where this letter-friendship will lead us :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next letter I got is the first letter of my second male pen pal: Michael from America. I directly fell in love with his handwriting! I've NEVER seen a guy who could write as neat as he does. And he really told me usually the people can't read his "chicken scratch". Unbelievable for me! Can't wait for more letters.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lisa from Belgium and me already exchanged a couple of letters and this girl is really sweet. Her writing paper always gets me again and I wished you could at least find something similar around where I live, but you actually can't. And she always uses the cutest envelopes ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I FINALLY got a first letter of Patricia from Germany. We decided to become pen pals quite a while ago but actually life happened and she was only able to send me the first letter now. And it was totally worth the wait! We have a lot in common and I really love the postcard of a German TV show she bought for me!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today I received three letters at once. The first one is from my lovely pen pal Ines from the UK. I'm always so excited to receive one of her letters because it's always something special. She really puts a lot of effort into her letters and I'm really glad to call her my pen pal ♥ This time she seemed to really like neon yellow pens :D Hard to read for you now though ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I finally got a reply from Martina from Austria. Already expected she's not interested in writing any more because I haven't heard anything from her for ages so I was really surprised when I finally got a letter. Sometimes you shouldn't loose hope too fast! Really love how she decorated the letter and the paper she used is just awesome!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And, last but not least, I got a reply I was really looking forward to. It came from Ian from America. Already his first letter made me like him a lot, but his second letter made me like him even more. He is such an interesting guy and I'm so glad he decided to become my pen pal. He even send me feathers of his two birds!

It's time for my latest incoming mail :)

My last post happened to be three weeks ago. Didn't felt that long, to be honest. In this three weeks I received some letters and today I like to show you what I got! Next week (or so) I'll also post some of my favourite outgoing letters. I managed to take pictures, yay! So be prepared! Actually I haven't received too many letters, but each and everyone I received was special!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let's start with the letter I got from Nikolina from Austria. Actually we just started to become pen pals because of the Secret Penpal Scavenger Hunt I organised as she was my Secret Pen Pal. As we already we're chatting on Facebook quite a lot we decided to also write letters. This is "only" the letter she put into her package for me, but it already contained a few information about her :) And she used lovely Harry Potter paper ♥ Anything Harry Potter related in a letter makes my heart melt!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next letter is from lovely Danni from Ireland. I honestly love this girl! Her letters are hilarious and she's such an interesting and amazing person! Already can't wait to meet her again in November/December for concerts of our favourite band! ♥ By the way: she loves bananas and almost one complete page was about her love for them :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also received my third letter by Jariya from Iceland. I'm still impressed on how fast the post system is working on this small island. Letters to bigger countries - or even closer countries! - take much longer usually. Really love that. And she used such a nice envelope! And look at the cute paper ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today I received the first letter of Jessica from Ireland. I actually sent her my letter quite a while ago but only now she had the time to answer. I LOVE everything about Ireland so I was especially happy to have yet another pen pal there and she also send me some nice postcards. She's living in Tralee, an area I've never been to but really long to go! Her handwriting is quite hard to read, though, but I guess I managed my way through her letter without missing any parts ;D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here you can see the first letter I got from Becky from the USA. We are obviously both fanatic about Harry Potter and that's the main reason we became pen pals in the first place. I've been looking for HP pen pals and she was there. I'm glad we started writing as we got a lot in common and it's amazing to talk about one of my favourite things to people who understand me! The best thing about her letter were the stamps though. Harry Potter stamps!! ♥♥ I wished I could use such in Germany :(
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And last but not least I received my second letter by lovely Ines from the UK ♥ She always puts so much effort in her letters and I truly loved this one. Look at all the little details! Everyone can be happy to have her as a pen pal ♥ Loved every piece of this one!

More incoming mail ♥

What can I say? Since monday I received a lot of letters from all around the world. I'm really happy I get to know so many new people right now. Today I like to show you all my incoming mail from this week so far as I'll be in Ireland from tonight till monday evening and won't be able to post it later (with maybe even more incoming letters!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This lovely letter was sent to me by a lovely girl from America: Carla. She's such a nice person and I'm really glad she agreed to become my penpal ♥ I totally love the owl on the envelope and she was the first person to send me a Mail-Tag which I had never really heard of before :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next letter I got came from Jana from Germany. First I only wanted to have pals from different countries than Germany, but then I decided it would be nice to receive letters faster and this girl was there. I really love her envelope! That's probably the prettiest I got so far ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next I received a letter from Sabrina from Canada. I still think it's funny to have a penpal with the same name as you say "Hi Sabrina" and sign it with your own name, too :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now, let's move on to the bunch of letters I've received yesterday. First, let me show you the letter from Bree from the USA. Actually I haven't expected to receive a letter from her as I thought I was supposed to write first. Luckily I hadn't started to write one so I can answer this one now :) Look at the cute envelope ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I got a reply from Celia from Switzerland. I had really wanted a penpal from Switzerland and I'm glad she decided to write with me. I really like the black paper with the silver ornaments ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Another letter I got was from Ines from the UK. We only recently decided to write letters as she is a participant of my Secrept Penpal Scavenger Hunt and were talking about it when I asked her to become my penpal. I'm really glad she agreed because she is a wonderful person and all her letters are so beautiful and full of little surprises ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also got a reply from Alieke from the Netherlands. I already showed you her first letter in my last post, but her reply was even more beautiful ♥ And so long! 5 pages written by a really lovely girl. And I'm really excited for the tea she has sent me. I LOVE tea! (which I haven't even told her :D)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And last but not least I got a reply from Amber from the USA. I was really excited to receive her letter as I asked her for a picture because she hasn't a picture of herself on Facebook. She's so cute! And the used a transparent envelope *_____* If anyone knows where I can get some of these please let me know!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm really thankful for everybody who has send me a letter ♥ They're all so amazing and I love to read about everybody's lifes. Everytime I open a letter I'm really excited about the inside and I guess that's one of the most amazing things of snail mail!
