Letters, letters, letters ♥ [Part I]

Three weeks ago I posted my last letters and guess what? Within this three passed weeks I received 20 new ones. Right now it is really insane. Every time I answer some letters and post them I get the same amount of new letters. I will never be finished with my answer pile if it goes on like that ^^ BUT: still I love each of my penpals and I'm always happy to receive letters of them no matter how many I have to reply to in the end ♥ Hopefully my answer pile will be empty once soon though as some relaxing time would be nice :D This is why I decided to post all answers at the same time now so at leas those penpals can't write a reply while I still have tons to answer. I know that probably everyone will be answering at the same time again, as it usually happens, but at least I'll have an emptier mail pile in between ;) So, tthere will be a second post tomorrow, as I had to split the post due to not enough characters at the labels section :/ But here are the first ten letters!

This letter is from my penpal Lisa in Belgium. Usually she answers letters really fast but due to surgery on her hand she wasn't able to write for a while so I was really happy when I finally received a reply to my letter in December. Not only does she always have the cutest envelopes but she also always includes lovely letter sheets ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although I really shouldn't I still take new penpals every now and then. This is Dany from Germany and we only became penpals in December so this is her first letter to me. It was a short one as she finds first letters hard to write. I feel like the only one who doesn't find first letters weird by now, haha! I'm curious on her next letter!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This letter came from Martine M. from the Netherlands. I'm really surprised her letters reach its destinations as she always only puts the first names of people on her envelopes. I would never do that as I would fear it won't reach the person it is meant to go to. Am I alone with this fear or does anybody else thinks so, too? Nevertheless, her letters are always lovely :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I got the third letter of my penpal Olivia from the Netherlands. By now I've so many penpals from there, it's crazy :D But she is such a cute person ♥ And so many of my penpals have sent me candy canes, haha. Do people actually eat them?!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next letter I like to show you is already a little older but I forgot to post it in my blog earlier. It came from Sam from Ireland. I probably can never say "No" to people from this country ♥ This is her first letter to me and she included so many goodies!

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And another first letter. I already wrote my first letter to Martine B. from the Netherlands a while ago but only now she had the time to answer and it really was worth the wait!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This has to be one of my favourite letters! It is the third letter of my penpal Neus from Spain and I already love this girl to pieces! The key necklace is a present for my birthday that was in December and it is soooo cute ♥ And she is an amazing photographer! I wished I was only half as good as her and I would be damn happy :D Her letters always put a big smile on my face!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
FINALLY I got a letter of my lovely penpal Elena from Bulgaria. She already had send me two letters in December but none of them reached me due to the stupid Bulgarian post. It is ridiculous how many letters get lost in Bulgaria :/ The happier I was that this one finally reached me! I LOVE the stickers she included and this girl in general :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Funny story for this next letter. Since December I was always asking myself if I ever posted a reply to Jariya in Iceland but she never answered on my questions on Facebook until I suddenly had a reply from her in my mail box. So all my worries were senseless, haha! She included some lovely postcards of her hometown Reykjavik and I sooo wish I can go there sometime soon. Iceland is such a beautiful country ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next first letter is from Novita from Indonesia. We became penpals through Instagram and although some people told me they made bad experiences with people from there I only get the best ♥ She has the cutest handwriting ever (sorry I can't really show it to you ;)) She used a clear envelope (I still need to get some myself and try that!) and also included some tea. Seriously, by now I have so much tea that I received from my penpals that I don't even know when I should drink all of it, haha!
A lot of incoming letters! (Part III)
And the last post of my incoming letters for now. But don't be sad, I've a few other posts prepared so there won't be such a long hiatus again! Keep your eyes open :)
Let's start with a letter from my best friend Vanessa from Germany. This one reached me a day before we met in Ireland at the beginning of December, as she wanted me to get it just before our meeting :D It's a Christmas letter and when I opened it I had Christmas confetti all over my bed as I didn't expected that. She also included some Christmas stationary which I haven't used yet, but I'm totally prepared for next years Christmas letters now :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This one came from Theresa from Germany. The paper is Harry Potter themed as she knows how much I love it! She also included tea, a Spanish Christmas card and a postcard from Spain. The quote on the leftern side is her favourite one and her nickname "hey_little_fighter" comes from that, I suppose :D

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here you can see the second letter I received from Betül from Germany. Just a few days before we actually got to meet each other for the first time. She wrote her first letter in English but now decided to start to write in German :D I always find it strange to write or talk in English with people who know German. Is this only me? I can only use English with people who doesn't know my language, haha.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the most recent letter I received while I'm preparing this post. Bree from America is just way too fast :D This time she finally included some of the pictures she took and I have to admit that she is a really good photographer :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most of the time the letters from Martine from The Netherlands are really special. This time she decided for a snail theme and included tons of snails :D This was so funny to look through and even harder to take a picture of as I only had little space. I'm not a huge fan of snails BUT her letter still was amazing, somehow!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next pictures show some Christmas and birthday cards I got from my penpals. I won't write something for each of them separately. The one I like to highlight is the little birthday letter of Olivia though. Harry Potter themed. Isn't it lovely? I opened that when I was in Ireland as I've been there for my birthday and this was just amazing!
Thanks again to all the girls who thought about me either for Christmas or my birthday ♥

A lot of incoming letters! (Part I)

I am so, so sorry it took me so long this time to write a new post. Almost 2 months since the last one. You can imagine that I got a lot of letters during this time, but somehow I didn't manage to put them on my blog. This is the reason I have to split my incoming letters post into two or three parts. I haven't decided yet. There won't be an actual order of the letters as I can hardly tell by now when I got which letter, so I just post them in the order I took the pictures of them. Don't wonder about multiple letters by a few people. Some of my penpals are really quick writer ;)

Okay, let's start! (this time I had to take the pictures in my room and unfortunately the light there isn't very good, so sorry for the light reflexions and sometimes poor picture quality!)

This is a letter I received by Ines just before we met in London in November. As usual her letter was really nice and by now it feels like I've know her for much longer than I actually do as we don't only write about nonsense all the time but have quite deep conversations about our childhoods and a lot of other things that happened in the past and made us to the persons we are now. I'm always so excited when I receive one of her letters as I never know what secrets she's going to tell me. THIS is exactly one of the reasons why I love my penpals ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next letter is from my dear friend Theresa from Germany (as she is living in Spain right now she sends her letters from there though!) She is totally into Origami things and I'm quite jealous that she is so good with it as I can't fold anything without it ending up in the bin. It's like I've two left hands when it comes to Origami :/ She always makes themed letters and she puts a lot of effort and thinking into them. She's a lovely person and her letters always put a big smile on my face!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A letter from Bree from the USA. She is one of those really fast people and I get a lot of letters of her. But actually... somehow I've the feeling our conversations never get really deep and it's always like exchanging trivialities instead of getting to really know her. Still it's somehow nice having such an easy-going penpal.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olivia from the Netherlands is always too afraid of sending her cute envelopes stamped to her penpals so she always puts them into a normal one. Look at the cute washi tape!! It is just adorable ♥ As she knows I love tea she also included some and I really like the bag of the right one. Why do foreign tea bags always look so lovely?
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the first letter I received by one of my Instagram penpals. I've 5 from there, I guess, and this is the first reply that reached me. It is from Lisa from Sweden. I haven't tried the candy yet as it's liquorice and I don't like that (although I will give it a try!) ;) Let's see where this friendship will lead us!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And another first letter (be aware, there will be a few more!). This time from Stephanie from Germany. Actually she is living in the city next to mine, but she was looking for people who love to write really long letters so I had to become penpals with her (and this makes it easier to meet sometime soon!) We have a lot in common and it doesn't felt like her first letter to me but as if we've been friends for much longer already. I'm sure the two of us will establish something really long-lasting. At least that's what I really hope ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Going on with the first letters. Another Instagram penpal. Kamilla from Denmark. Her paper is soooo cute, isn't it? ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I got a reply by my penpal Maeva from France. She and I have so much in common when it comes to TV shows and movies and I loved that she wrote the "Hello" in the writing from Lord of the Rings *_____* She even altered her paper with coffee. How cool is that? :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And another first letter. It came from Betül from Germany who is in Ireland as an au pair at the moment. We only got to know each other by mere coincidence on Facebook, found out we live in cities next to each other, that we both love Ireland and so we decided to become penpals. This was her first letter to me and although it is really simple I already love this girl to pieces! Okay, maybe it's also because we got to meet each other for three days about 1 1/2 weeks ago and got along so, so good! She has to be one of the cutest persons I've ever met and we had a lovely time. I'm so glad we became penpals ♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 10th and last letter for this post is another first letter. It's from Wathmi from Sri Lanka. I always wanted to have a penpal from India but it was so hard to find one. I'm happy I found her on Instagram and she decided to become penpals with me and I'd say that was a really good decision ♥ As she knew it was my birthday she send me a little something for it and her letter was so nice! Can't wait for more letters ♥
Recently incoming ♥
My last post was about 3 weeks ago and I haven't had the time to blog before so I again got a whole bunch of new letters I like to show you today. I received a lot of lovely letters and one was completely unexpected to me but the happier I was that I finally received a reply from her ♥
I'm still stuck on all my replies but it's getting better. Last week I've send 6 replies and I plan to send 5 more this week. Hopefully soon I can answer all new incoming letters directly and don't have to put them on hold. How do you deal with too many letters you have to reply to at the same time? Do you stress yourself and try to get them out asap or do you take your time to create something special for each letter?
Okay, I'll start with the letter from Bree. Her letter was a little Halloween themed and I really love the vampire stickers! My sister was happy about the Eye Liner Tattoos as I don't use things like that. And I really love her envelope! Halloween is such an awesome day ♥ Can't it be Halloween more than once a year? :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

On to the quite unexpected letter I received from my lovely Irish pen pal Caroline ♥ It's always so nice to receive one of her letters as she was the one who got me into penpalling! Originally she had to send me an Irish magazine I wanted to have because of an interview of my favourite band but she took her time and included a lovely letter! She also sent me some tea - I recently became a tea addict!!! - and a lovely card where she answered my Mail Tag in. And the envelope she used is so cute!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On to the letter from Danni from Ireland. Every time I receive one of her letters I burst into laughing while reading because she is such a funny girl! So excited to see her again soon ♥ And she included a picture of my favourite band Keywest :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One of the most recent letters I received is from Elizabeth from the USA. Already her first letter was so nice, but her second made me like her even more. And the paper she used this time is as cute as the last time *_____* She also included some tea and polaroids she took as we decided to exchange this little pictures every now and then as we own the same camera :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then I received a letter I waited for for ages (at least it felt like that): from Ingrid from Brazil It's her first letter to me as it - unfortunately - takes ages for letters to travel between our countries... Nevertheless it was totally worth the wait! Look at the skull drawing ♥ She is a really talented drawer in my eyes :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Another first letter I received came from Joanne from Luxembourg. She asked me to become penpals a while ago but only now I received her first letter and it is AMAZING! I think my eyes became heart-shaped in the train when I opened her letter yesterday. She has made the most awesome Harry Potter themed letter ever! Everywhere are quotes and little surprises and it was just perfect! I think we'll get along really well ♥

The front ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next letter came from Lisa from Belgium. We already exchanged a few letters by now and it feels like I've know this girl for much longer than we actually do! She has sent me some Pokemon cards of really weird looking Pokemons :D And the cutest panda paper ever *______* I need more of this!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next I like to show you is from Neus from Barcelona. Already her first letter was lovely but her second one is even better ♥ Sometimes you just know you'll get along really well even if you only started writing a short time ago. We just found out that we both love Ireland so I suppose around St. Patricks Day in March our letters will become really Irish. Be prepared :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the letter from Nikolina from Austria. We became penpals by mere coincidence I guess and I love this girl! We have so much in common and although she is a lot younger than me we get along so well and I've the feeling I've known her forever and not only two months. Our letters are long and full of everything that's in our minds and we both share a huge love for Harry Potter. This definitely will be a long-lasting friendship and I so hope to meet her someday ♥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Another first letter (don't think I keep on taking new penpals, but sometimes letters need a while to arrive because either of the post system or because they weren't send directly!). This time from Olivia from The Netherlands. I've quite a few pals there now and this is actually quite nice as I live close to the border to The Netherlands :) The paper is so cute, right? ♥ And she seems to be a really nice girl so I can't wait for more letter of her!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And the last first letter for today. This girl asked me to become penpals on Instagram a while ago and there we go. I couldn't say no to another Australian penpal and I don't regret it! Her first letter was quite short but as she only started penpalling and still has a lot of questions about what to write and include that's totally okay for me :) Let's see where my only Instagram penpal and I will go together! By the way: this is an awesome stamp!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And, last but not least, another letter by my best friend Vanessa from Germany. Luckily our letters travel fast due to the same country so that we can exchange a few letters within a short time. As she is marrying her boyfriend in 1 1/2 years she included a Mail Tag all about love and her dream wedding dress on the back. A really nice idea :) We're also planning our trip to Ireland on the first weekend of December right now and talking about this in our letters is a fun thing to do ♥
